[LasT rouND of QuArteRs]
yesterday, we beat AJC.
it wasn't exactly a sweet victory, but we became very high towards the end.
we cheered the VeeJay VeeJay Ceeeeee, VJ boleh, and a private self Soh-SaSaSaSa-Soh with yy. =) haha
i apologise if i played lousily, but truely thank the supporters for all their encouragement and support and my fellow mates and teachers.
on the other challenging side, TJ played RJ. the overall score was 2-3. very close and tough fight. everything for the girls went more or less normally. not for the guys unfortunately. TJ guys. all the guys team played for pretty long. i was already outside waiting.
TJ finally exited the hall. the atmosphere was weird. i went to look for Mabu. "you don't know?something happened."
we learnt from yt that their teacher-in-charge had made a serious error by ticking the wrong name under the 3rd singles column. zachery? was suppose to play. it was not until the very last moment when the 3rd singles was about to begin that this error was discoverd. the list stated that it was some ip playing. and the poor guy had to play the singles without warning and warm up.
"the teacher is crying." i turned, and saw a small woman sitting on the bench infront of all the students weeping painfully away. sigh, it had to be the guilt and responsibility. it was a sad sight.
wasted. really wasted. if not, TJ guys would have gotten into semis.
i probably shouldn't be poking my nose into other people's business, much less other schools'. maybe it is because it's a badminton thing?
or maybe it is because half of my family is there, and therefore i feel for them too.....
well, if this happened to our guys, i'd probably be stung too. hmm, but we have only 8 men in the team, so it's like everyone needs to play. -_-"
oh, anyway, i'm really glad that the seniors came back! kexin, venus, diana and XQ ! ThaNKs! it was nice seeing all of you again, and even nicer for you all to be part of the team once again and cheer alongside. my only problem - your butts were superglued to the bench! brrrr.. haha
